Former Prosecutors Fighting for You

Why Hire a Former Prosecutor?

As prosecutors, our lawyers tried thousands of criminal cases to a verdict, from reckless driving to first-degree murder, including over 200 jury trials. Our first-hand experience from the other side provides us invaluable insight into which defenses work and which are likely to fail. If necessary, we are not afraid to take cases to trial. When we say we will proceed to trial rather than accept a plea offer, we are taken seriously. We cannot overstate the importance of our credibility: it leads to better outcomes for our clients. Let us put our decades of experience to work for you.

But What if I’m Guilty?

Not everyone who experiences regret, poor judgment, or a guilty conscience is guilty under the law. As a legal term, guilty refers to the legal standard that requires the government to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt. Often, the government cannot meet this burden due to procedural hurdles, the passage of time, and missteps by law enforcement—even if you actually committed the offense. Furthermore, if the police violate your constitutional rights to obtain evidence of guilt, then knowing how to exclude that evidence is critical. Either way, it’s wise to discuss your options with an experience criminal defense attorney as soon as possible.
